SOP: Building SEO Topical Authority Using WriterZen + Elementor

Objective

To build a topical authority website using pillar pages and supporting content clusters, starting with keyword research in WriterZen, then building and optimizing content using Elementor, with proper local SEO and on-page SEO best practices (no plugins like RankMath or schema generators required).

Step 1: Identify Pillar Page Keyword Using WriterZen

  1. Login to WriterZen.

  2. Use the Keyword Explorer and enter your niche term (e.g., “Teeth Whitening”).

  3. Apply filters:

    • High search volume

    • Medium competition

    • Commercial or informational intent

  4. Look for untapped opportunities using filters like:

    • Keyword Golden Ratio (KGR)

    • Allintitle

  5. Shortlist 1–3 potential pillar keywords that have strong search potential.

Outcome: 1–2 strong keywords selected as pillar page candidates.


Step 2: Localize Your Pillar Keyword

  1. Add local modifiers to keywords for location targeting:

    • Examples:

      • Teeth Whitening Doncaster

      • Roof Repair in Blackburn

  2. Verify local intent by checking SERPs:

    • Google Maps or local listings present?

    • Are competitors using suburb names?

Outcome: Finalized keyword with local focus (e.g., “Teeth Whitening Melbourne”).


Step 3: Plan Pillar Page Title and Structure

  1. Create a keyword-rich page title (e.g., “Professional Teeth Whitening in Doncaster – Safe & Affordable”).

  2. Draft a meta description with a value proposition and a keyword.

  3. Set your URL slug (e.g., /teeth-whitening-Melbourne/).

  4. Outline page sections:

    • Introduction

Step 4: Build Pillar Page in Elementor with On-Page SEO

  4. Generate Contents Using Preferred AI Content Generator Like WriterZen, ensure that content is LOCAL SEO Optimized.
  5. For each cluster article:

    • Use Elementor to build as a blog post or a static page.

    • Title should be clear and contain a target long-tail keyword.

    • Use proper heading structure (H1, H2, etc.).

    • Include internal links:

      • Link to the pillar page

      • Link to 1–2 other cluster articles

Step 6: Interlink Pages to Build a Topical Silo

  1. From each supporting article:

    • Add 1–2 contextual links back to the pillar page.

  2. On the pillar page:

    • Add links to the most relevant supporting articles.

  3. Ensure all pages are crawlable and linked from menus or breadcrumbs.

Step 7: Local SEO Optimization

  1. Add your business’s Name, Address, and Phone Number (NAP) at the bottom of the page.
